Ventura Woman, 61, Killed in Oxnard 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 at Oxnard Boulevard
Oxnard, California (June 24, 2022) – A 61-yer-old Ventura woman was killed Friday afternoon after three vehicles collided on Highway 101 in Oxnard, according to the California Highway Patrol
The deadly crash was reported around 1:47 p.m. on the northbound Highway 101, just north of Oxnard Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck, a 2011 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by a 53-year-old Ventura man, and a BMW 750I driven by a 75-year-old Camarillo man, were involved in the crash.
CHP officials say the Ventura woman was driving the Silverado, and in front of her was the Ford F-250, then the BMW.
Reportedly, as traffic slowed, the Victim’s Silverado failed to stop and crashed into the Ford, causing the incident.
The Ford driver sustained minor injuries in the crash while the driver of the sedan was not injured.
No additional details regarding the collision were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
